1/24/99 - THIS IS THE END. Lucas and myself as well as all the other members of The Circle of the Eternal Dragon have become tired of being generous and kind to all the new players of Darktide and having them spit in our faces later on. So, we will no longer be helping the poor, the weak, or the infirm. Instead we will be cutting away all the non-core members of the guild and we will be playing for ourselves and ourselves alone for a change. We will still honor all friendships we have, but we need to do this for ourselves or a couple of us will never be happy playing this game again. I apologize to those who are still a follower and get dropped in the coming days. But know that carrying my name has more often than not meant death to our low level recruits and not the protection we once offered. Better than tarnish a job we've been doing a long time by doing it half-assed, we feel its better to just quit. So good luck one and all. CED is now the close Circle it was always meant to be and not the fat lame-legged beast its turned into.

Greetings all. Welcome to the home of righteousness and order in a land full of anarchy and chaos. Our goal is simple, yet the process of achieving it is daunting and, yes, I'll admit it, it is well nigh impossible.My name is Owain Goch and I have lived in these lands for a good long time. I am familiar with the countryside and all the various beasts that inhabit it. As I strap my father Llewelyn's sword to my hip this morning, a vision comes to my mind. I have come to the realization that the majority of the inhabitants of Dereth are in fact good, honest people. It is just that, being good as they are, they see no way to fight back against the evil that plagues our land. But I realize now, that if only we come together, we can be victorious and defend our lands from the ravages of roving gangs and powerful despots. If only we have the numbers...

If you are interested in joining my allegiance on the Forced PvP world, or "DARKTIDE" world, I would greatly appreciate your companionship in the circle. My goal is simply to recruit enough honest, good-hearted ROLEPLAYERS to populate and forcibly occupy a town in Dereth. Presently we will be aiding Curafin the Cunning in the defense of Shoushi from rampant PKers in an attempt to keep that town safe for new players and encourage the growth of the server. If you are new to Darktide, and would like to join the Circle, then you should try contacting some of the members of the Inner Circle (follow the link to the "New Page" above where there is a member list). You will be given a temporary spot in the Circle as a new recruit, and once it is determined that you have proved yourself you will be assigned a permanent patron (your permanent spot in the allegiance tree).
